Over recent years Croatia has been getting a lot of hype, but despite this Croatia's delights have remained timeless. All along its stunning coast a beautiful sea winds its way in and out of lovely rocky coves. Its ports and harbours bustle with fishermen bringing in their catch and in Dalmatia the cities are alive with fantastic night life that is set in and amongst old Roman ruins.
Croatia is rapidly becoming a favourite tourist destination and one place becoming very popular in particular is the central Dalmatia area. The World Travel & Tourism Organization (WTTC) independently reported that between 2003 and 2013 income from travel and tourism is anticipated to rise from $7.9bn to $20.2bn, an impressive 155% growth.
Croatia is stunningly beautiful, with crystal clear seas, mouth watering cuisine, friendly family oriented people - who are mostly English speaking - and conveniently, only a 2.5/3 hour flight from the UK.
The Dalmatia coastline of Croatia is presently a hidden gem, although with ongoing change in the laws for foreign ownership and EU candidate acceptance granted and entry expected in 2010, this is unlikely to remain the case for long.
